FTP Thingy is an FTP client application that delivers only basic FTP abilities with none of the complexity. You can view files on a server in a file browser. You can download and upload files which have managers for queuing your file transfers. You can add directories and files to a server and delete them.

Bad. Easy to use, yes. Ideal for uploading. Encountered problems when downloading. Use some other FTP client. Trust me.

This is promising software, unfortunately it still has an unfinished feel to it. I had the same problem with this FTP client as I have found with most others (including the OS X Finder) except for Transmit - I get ‘chrooted' in my home directory even though I've set the initial directory to ‘/'.

The author is true to the principles of Free Software.

This is almost the best interface I saw for a simple ftp-client, it only lacks drag and drop support. Promising !
