Thanks so much for the update!! My Favorite screensaver!

Yes, it definitely seems to have a memory problem. 2GB and more for a screem saver is a bit... hm... exaggerated?! But in case it runs, and it does sometimes, it looks very beautiful. Let's hope for an update. 8-)

The problems others mention bellow appear to be fixed, running beautifully on my 800Mhz iBook.

Very nice!

Very nice but be careful not set things too high or complex on lower end models or it hangs the software!

Hopefully an update will fix this otherwise fine screensaver!

Thanks for this -- very nice. No problems here with custom settings on a G4 933 QS, 1024 RAM, 10.3.9

Experienced essentially the same problems as Matt and Dan. While I didn't try the custom setting, I tried "jiggly" and another setting(I forgot which one) and my Powerbook froze.
Experienced an endlessly spinning "beachball", had to shut down my Powerbook by pressing the power button.
Tried Solarwinds again and experienced the same problem. Had to trash Solarwinds.
So it seems that Solarwinds has some serious stability issues for many of us.

Same problem as Dan.

After trying to choose a custom setting it completely froze System Preferences for about 5 minutes.

Dual 2Ghz G5, 1GB RAM

Same solution as Dan.

It's now in the bin.

was excited with initial setting view, looked good.
tryed one custom click and it crashed system prefs.
rebooted, changed saver to solarwind and it crashed system prefs again. next reboot, solarwind emptyed out with the trash.
G4 powerbook 1.5ghz, 1gig ram, sys 10.3.3

Beautiful!! Like "flurry" but so much better, the customization allows you to make completely different looks from the same "math"

The only gripe is I had to try a lot of different settings to find one that didn't use all the CPU, I finally used a version of "Undertow" that only takes about 20% on my G4 550 powerbook

How about adding a frame rate slider to minimize CPU usage??

you should download the developer's flurry - it has a lot more options than the apple one
