Here's a tip...

Don't download it.

Why do we need to know the current Terror Alert Status?

Person 1 - OH NO! It's red! What do I do?!?
Person 2 - Nothing. It's just red and there is nothing you can do about it. And it doesn't apply to you.
Person 1 - Why? It's red so it means we are in danger.
Person 2 - From what? By the time it is updated, you might be dead so it it completely useless.
Person 1 - You know? You're right. This damn app is useless.
Person 2 - Were you stupid enough to pay him 5 bucks for that garbage?
Person 1 - ...
Person 2 - My guess is yes. Dumbass...

I could do something much better than this with GeekTool(http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/10404) accessing http://www.whitehouse.gov/homeland/. Buy yourself a Little Caesar's $5 pizza with that money and DL GeekTool.

Now what would be really usefull would be an interactive app so all users could vote foroa terror level.. You could compare your personal level of terror with the general level of terror.

A second app showing how much America is terrorising the rest of the world would be good but pretty redundant as it would be RED all the time.

These reviews are entertaining as hell. I've never laughed so hard at reviews. Also, make sure to check out http://www.wackyneighbor.com/ashcroft/ . You can put a terror alert on your web site. Utterly hilarious.

Not even the terrorists themselves would be so mentally defunct to use this app in counterespionage in case they wanted to know if your 'Homeland' is dropping its guard.

...Or ??

Maybe someone should ask the developer of this app to include some measure of the risk for that to happen as well..

Anyone want to wager that the developer may have a contract to supply it to GSA (lingo for government agencies)? This very well might be your tax dollars at work! Unfortunately I can see our government paying out big bucks for this on the premise of keeping its workers up-to-date on the current threat level - like it is going to make a real difference in what they do for most of them and they can't find out about it like the rest of of us.

Hopefully for those that really need to know in a more timely fashion, they are finding out by some means more reliable than a piece of $5 shareware.

I think that for the price of this app, you should at least get a "countdown until next terrorist attack" feature... HAHA!

I actually thought this was a joke when i downloaded it, but when i realised it wasn't, i got a little scared! Do people actually pay for this?????????

Thank god i'm not American!!!! :S
And may God bless the developer of this app...
