Following the plan, two of your teammates cast enchantments on you -- you feel stronger and faster. You take out your battle ax and nod to your remaining team mate. It is now possible to download both the host and client version of the game:

With a good broadband connection (like a symmetric, low latency DSL) it should be possible to play again ...

This game is no longer online. After an extensive budget was spent on keeping the server online, Freeverse called it quits, most likely triggered by the death of one of the members by suicide. Download only if you would like to listen to those 3 very amazing pieces of music contained within the folder.

This game just gets better and better. The new levels added, new monster AI and user-preference controls have made this game almost fatally addictive. I have been playing the arena now for over a year and watched as the updates and changes have morphed the game into a real crowd pleaser. The price tag ($30 for a permanent registration to a on mmorpg) is astonishing considering the continual development efforts involved.
I must give this game two thumbs up and demand that everyone register it immediately since you will regret it if you miss out.

A thorough update of a thoroughly addictive game. Admittedly short in the eye-candy department, but the play is addictive and the players are fun.

Server too unreliable to consider paying for this. Developer couldn't even be bothered to put resource in the app wrapper. Manual links don't work for me, and the Quick Tutorial tries to open IE instead of Safari.

This is a very addictive game, even without the fancy 3D graphics. Maybe it's because I'm a child of the 80s, and I grew up learning on Nintendo and Atari that I enjoy and understand the point of this game over some of the other games out there. The moderators do a wonderful job of keeping the unruly amongst us in line, and answering many questions both in the game and on the forum boards. As for those of you that whine about your tutorials not opening in safari...did you check to make sure safari was selected as default? Mine all opened up fine in safari...and I'm on a second-gen. imac running OS X jag.
