Excellent program, only problem is the OpenGL issues from Tiger update 10.4.3 break this app. That is too bad, I hope Apple fixes these issues soon. If you have not updated Tiger to 10.4.3, then download Curvus Pro TODAY!

From the developer: "On July 22, 2004 Curvus Pro X was bought by an international company (whose name cannot be revealed) and its distribution has been discontinued. It is therefore not possible any longer to download nor to buy any kind of registration license for this program. We would like at this point to thank all the users sincerely who registered and supported us during the development of this program."

I didn't buy because Curvus, with its admitedly brilliant graphics, is the only program I've run in a long time that actually froze my G4 running Panther while I was playing with one of its demo files. By froze, I mean the only way out was a hard reboot. The first time I've restarted in about a month, too and I do run the daily/weekly/monthly CRON tasks.

Further Point. With a package installer (and no option to un-install) trashing the installed folder (which I did) probably leaves all kinds of unidentified stuff behind; hopefully not active.

Be warned: package installer. Boo!

To be clear, the reason a package installer sucks is that it requires an administrator login to install, and it involves "Optimizing system performance" which can take quite a while.

Really brilliant, and, as someone else said, it fills a gap.
The only issue for me is the clipboard handling: in spite of an amazing TIFF / PDF / EPS copy capability, it won't copy vectorial data "the old way" (maybe, in PICT format?) so that simple, old apps like Appleworks will paste only bitmap equivalent. The only way I found up to now to paste vectorial graphics is th paste pdf inside a "big" software like Canvas, then Canvas will allow to copy again the vectorial data and to paste it e. g. in Appleworks. A bit sad.
But after all, Maple itself doesn't copy vector graphics to the clipboard at all ;-)

Great program. The new interface is excellent. This really fills a void in the current os X software offering.
