MultiMode Cocoa overview

MultiMode Cocoa allows your Mac to decode and transmit several different modes of non-voice communication often heard on shortwave and ham radio. It is the only program of its kind for the Mac, rivaling commercial packages for the PC platform costing hundreds of dollars. It is ideal for amateur radio operators, shortwave radio listeners, and other radio enthusiasts.

Having done some investigation, it's actually cheaper to run the free PC software that has the same functionality under Crossover. Works quite well too. This app does indeed work, but it's old fashioned, missing some newer modes and overly expensive.

I see you still havent replied to the last comment that has been posted here going on 2 months or more. furthermore $89.00 for your software is a bit overboard I would have to say. I never liked your program under M$crap. Why would I like it for Mac OS X?

As expected this program did not work on my G5 20 inch. It did display the signal but it did not pass through the signal to allow me to hear it through my speakers WHICH IS A MUST HELLO! I am using my Phones output to the MAC input. I need to be able to hear it to tune to a new frequency if needed. I have used many Windows CRAP freeware decoders but I have since grown up to a MAC and I am not going back to CRAP! So I am looking for a decoder that works with Mac OS X. I do not care if the developer replies I have never really like this software even way back when. So if you are a ham and know of a good program preferable one that is FREEWARE i would much appriciate it.

I think this still needs some work. Crashed on me when changing modes. Later, whenever I clicked the menu trying to access the Quit item, it gave me some kind of error message about FFT spectrum every time I clicked on the menu bar. Buttons & text fonts could be more Mac-like. Certainly not worth the 89 bucks the author is asking for this. Try $19, after the bugs are worked out.
