Seemed to work ok at first, but could not get any stable boot off of any drive attached to the Sonnet card, ATA133, even after the firmware 4.5. Other weird issue, seemed to not like IBM DeskStar drives at all, giving me repeated failures on booting from these drives while attached to Sonnet, and giving repeated and excessive red warnings from DiskWarrior. Went back to booting from a different drive attached directly to the motherboard. Still getting Diskwarrior red error corrections everytime I run it, after working for even a short time. Hmmmm.... These same drives worked fine on OS9.2.2, but do not seem to like the combination of OS 10.2.6 plus the sonnet ATA 133 card.

Now un-needed. OS X.4 natively supports this. I have several G4 AGP towers running large HD's using the Sonnet Tempo ATA133 cards. Very good.

Neil, I have the same Sonnet Tempo card and am unable to boot from the only drive attached to it. I was going to install firmware 4.0 but am concerned that I will make matters worse. System Info shows that I am running firmware 3.5.0. My Mac will boot off my SCSI drive running Tiger. Are you booting from your large drives?

These files are really outdated...I don't think Sonnet's ATA133 card will work with 10.3.2 even with their 4.5 firmware- which isn't posted on this site. //dc
