I guess by raising the price to $29.95 the author might be trying to cash in before the last few deluded souls who actually use IE on Mac work out that there are infinitely better alternatives and ditch the overrated, underdeveloped, out-of-date dinosaur once and for all.

There is, after all, one born every minute (although extrapolating based on population statistics now as opposed to the time when that statement was first uttered, and in an utterly ballpark kind of fashion, perhaps we should now say "There are twenty-five born every minute" -- and at $30 a pop, that's gotta be worth a try!).

I also agree that $30 is too much, it's only popup blocking, if it included other features within IE, such as tabbed browsing (somehow) or something, then it might be more worth it, but $30 would still be too much, there's browsers on windows that use the IE engine (myie2 for example) that are 100% FREE.

Hmmmm...30 bucks to go from version 2.6.1 to 2.6.2 when it was just 10 bucks with the last release? This has got to be a typo or the developer is simply insane.

It's only fitting the author drops the price on this fine product. Yes IE isn't the speed demon of the url world, but the combination with PopUp Zapper makes it a pretty decent product, even if it needs a little "hand holding" to work best. Of course, now with the immenant final release of Safari, $10 is still too much.

lol. The developer doesn't charge for a program but let people pay for their foolishness still using IE, well done - congratulations - what a clever idea :-)

$20?! IE is annoying to begin with, especially not having been updated in over a year.

Camino and Safari, the #1 and #2 Mac browsers both have Pop-up blocking built in and cost nothing.

If you're not afraid of Terminal, give Privoxy a shot. It's free and does all the same stuff. http://www.privoxy.org/

Occasionally you may see a window flash really fast before it is zapped. You can look at Pop-Up Zapper's counter on its Dock icon to see that it is working. Pop-Up Zapper 2.0 makes popup windows invisible to you and it requires Internet Explorer.

For filtering, Pop-Up Zapper acts as a 'Proxy' for your Web browser or mail program, and can be told to leave out flash animations, Javascripts, graphics over 4K in size, all graphics or a combination of those options. Choosing to only load selected graphics can improve your Web browsing speed substantially, specially on a modem connection. If the option key is down while loading all filtering is off. Works with IE, Safari, Mail, etc.
