This update crashes instantly on start for me in 10.4.2. Previous version worked perfectly for me in 10.4.1, but I never tried it in 10.4.2. Any ideas?

This is a fantastic qualitative analysis program. I'm finishing my Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology at MSU and I'm using TAMS Analyzer to code all of my interviews. I have NVivo for PC, running on my Mac, and I prefer TAMS as my primary tool for coding. As a researcher with complex theoretical problems at hand, I greatly appreciate the simplicity of this software.

I do not know anything aboutt the software yet but I can tell you right now I am really excited to find this. I need to analyze 18,000 paragraph entries related to patient safety incidents and I'm sure this is going to be marvelous. Thanks!

Fantastic program - for both researchers and teachers of text-based analysis. The frequent updates are constantly adding improvements. Easier to use than the expensive commercial programs.

This software application is excellent. It it is a niche tool that most people would not quickly take to but for social science researchers and others needing a tool to understand themes within volumes of text, this is the 'ants pants'. There are no text analysis / qualitative tools that I can find for OS X (at least that I can find). The tool is intuitive, fast, and has many features. The report outputs are OK too. Keep up the good work!!
