What a great concept! My biggest problem is that there is not enough flexibility. All I am looking for is to be able to create blank notation paper - like you but in the store. For example, I should be able to choose '0' for the measures/staff line because I want to draw them myself. Also, I would like the option for there to be no writing on the pages (none of that stuff at the bottom of the page). Good luck - I'd have purchased it if these changes were present - I'll just make them in Illustrator.

Finally found a simple app that makes music staff paper. Customizable via "View" menu or embedded tabs. Best feature is the Body>Clef in which you can choose what you want on the paper. Very usful. Thanks for a great tool!!!!

I'm not a musician, but this does appear to be very useful for making sheets for writing handwritten scores. I can even produce sheets for handling strange keys, time signatures, and guitar-related chords. I wonder if the developer will make a generic graph paper generation app as well? (Hex grids and heavy/light scored square grids would be cool.)

Works OK for me. There was a problem with the download in the first hour of availability. That is now fixed.

1. The need to use an installer for such a small _application_ - not a system extension is disgusting. 2. All it does on my system after the installation is a startup crash (10.3.3) As for now - no value.

There was a small glitch in the first hour of downloads for this app. It has now been fixed, so try again. The reason for the installer is that there is an auxiliary file besides the app itself. If now installer was used, some would complain that they had to manually install the auxiliary. Developers never get a break. :-)

There are free sites on the Internet where you can do this just through the HTML interface on the site.

I think the label "1 measure" means that the entire staff is one giant measure (i.e. no measures in your lingo). A "measure" is the length of staff between two vertical measure lines, not the lines themselves.
