DesktopConsole allows you to display messages written to the console (or any log file) right on the Desktop. If you like to run Console but are annoyed by its windows constantly getting in the way then DesktopConsole is for you. Features include:

What a cool program! This would have to be a must for programmers / administrators / power users. Really like the AppleScript support. I have been able to use it to set up a window that displays the current weather conditions
