MenuMachine is an extension that allows you to quickly and easily build and edit drop-down hierarchical menus. MenuMachine allows you to work directly within the Adobe GoLive interface that you're already familiar with.
What's New
Version 2.2.1:

Improvements

  • Added support for GoLive 9, including Universal Binary support for both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs
  • Greatly enhanced menu loading performance for most menus and pages. The submenus will now be loaded after the rest of the page has loaded. In the vast majority of cases this means that the page load time is significantly reduced.
Fixes
  • Fixed a problem with menu functionality on pages inside framesets that could occur in certain circumstances with the version of Safari installed in Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later
  • Improved the menu appearance in Internet Explorer 7. Menus should now appear anti-aliased like the rest of the page content. Menus which have an opacity less than 100% or which use the fade options in the menu effects will still contain aliased text due to a technical limitation in Internet Explorer 7.
  • Text entered into the status bar text field in the menu item "more" tab will now be used as the alt attribute text if the menu item uses an image.
  • Improved the handling of parsing errors if any MenuMachine code in the page has been altered in source mode
  • Improved support for Internet Explorer 5 and 5.5 if opacity and/or effects are used in the menu
  • Added a workaround for a problem in some versions of IE on Windows where a white "false" box could appear on submenu display in certain circumstances

best. menubuilder. ever.

The guy behind the menu itself, Rob Keniger, is always quick to respond to any comments or questions. And if he doesn't reply, Ms. Keniger hits the keyboard to write a reply.

I too have used MenuMachine since its inception and I would have to say that it is by far the best addition you can get for GoLive. I also find the online registration system more convenient than before when codes had to be entered at each upgrade - so no problems there.

I have also, on a number of occasions had to ask for help from the developer and their response has always been prompt and useful - a solution has always been found.

In short - great software - great support - great value - and great menus on my sites as a result!

Big Bang Software have my full endorsement.

I think I'll be fine working with Javascripts found on the web for free.

MenuMachine is a great and timesaving product. If you work as a professionel, you only have to save about halv an hour of work and the product has paid for itself..!

Absolutely the best. I have no problem with Big Bang's on-line licencing scheme.

This software has performed very well since version 2. Great value for money! Great support!

what's the big deal? the first time you open Golive after installing MM, you have to enter your serial. Then it takes like 5 seconds to verify your serial, and that's IT.

Maybe it because he doesn't own a legal copy of Menu Machine 2.0 and doesn't have the SN.

It took me all of ten seconds to copy my serial number from the email I got when I bought it and paste it into the box.

this is the best $65 i've ever spent. it has saved me countless hours of work and my clients are blown away with the menus we've come up with thanks to Big Bang

I have been using Menu Machine since the day it hit the market (couple of years now) all the way through version 1 and now version 2 and it has worked flawlessly on all the web sites I design and build.
This is the best addition to Mac GoLive you can purchase.
This software is first rate and Big Bang provides great backup, support and documentation.
You won't be sorry for purchasing this software.

Will not accept my serial numbner to download the 2.01a updater. tells me it is not valid.

Went to their recover serial number are and they sent me the same number it won't accept. this sucks. I always hated SWReg.
The app is a saviour for my work, but if a legal customer can't upgrade his purchase there is a big problem at Big Bang

FWIW, I've been using this from version 1, with multiple updates. no problem. i've even forgotten my serial a few times, and they've been instantly helpful.

Sure you've got a legit serial??

You must not have looked closely enough :) They are NOT Flash menus. It is all done with plain-ole' CSS and JavaScript.
