Uhm...This app is worse than appalling.
It is not even as useful as a tiny wad of stained toilet paper stuck to the crest of your sweaty, obese, elderly neighbor's semi-exposed and pimple coated butt crack.
It is grep, with a GUI and 1/1000th the functionality.
It is the USA Today of search tools... but only if you left the USA Today out in the rain for a month and a large dog with a stomach virus pooped on it.
It's a day old McGrep... minus the special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.
It is the bowel movement of a hyena that just ate 20 pounds of rancid goat anus.
It is like doing a "find" except that it isn't as good or effective or stable or useful.
It can only search text files and, in my case at least, it went down like a $5 hooker (i.e. fast, messily and bad) after I started my first search.
With the actual command line grep, you can search entire directories (not just individual text files) and you can search ANY kind of file (like .php or .html for example) not just regular text files.
I suggest you just google about and learn how to use grep from the command line. It, unlike AquaGrep, is useful.
I dont like it.

From another MacUpdate user: Your point is well taken but your apprach is juvenile and, in my opinion, quite offensive. I'm far from a stickler on language but I'm not here to read about butt cracks and hookers. You could have said the same thing in about 2 lines and left out all of your Pro-Command line "Huray for UNIX" 10th grade humor.

Please stick to the point and save us all some time. No offense.

I totally disagree with Mr anonymous.
This is one of the best comment on MU ever.
Excellent.

Keep trying. Your menus are incomplete, for example "New Application",... should be Aqua Grep. The price on your about screen does not match the price listed here. It is quicker to open the terminal and use grep, however, not everyone wishes or knows how to do this. Therefor you should at least include help. I'd also suggest getting a professional to redo your application icon.
