I use this app regularly and it fulfills my needs in a perfect way.

On the MacUpdate listing of apps, MConvert is shown with a one star rating. Should the overall rating not be shown instead of the rating of the latest version?

I decided not to use it, besides I am in search of this kind of app.
Why not to use MConvert - because it is:
visualy very small (very very small letters),
choice of colors is poor,
use of MConvert - there is so many options as a result that one forgets what was searching for... etc.

What does this do that a 99 cent iPhone app cannot? I do not understand.

I just tried this, and it was off on the values in currency conversions checked against other sources by as much as five cents.

Only converters using the IMF (Internatonal Monetary Foundation) will have the same currency values!

Nonetheless, 5% is a bit much - I'll continue to use several that agree with each other. Thanks for the reply

So you mean, the more others agree on crap, the better the crap seems to be... - be my guest!

Only the top converters use the IMF, which is so to say - the bank of the banks. Sure there is a lot of other banks and organisations, providing currencies online.

The best would be a converter using the rates of your personal bank, e.g. the bank where you exchange the money.

There seems to be a problem updating the currencies online. Until a fixed update is published this should help:

Delete the MConvert preferences in user:Library:Preferences and the update should be fine.

Okay, I've said it didn't work in the past review as you can see below (1/27/05 comment). IT IS BACK, and I love it. Thank you guys. By the way, I got a email back from the developer. Although it took a while for the developer(s) to do the update, but who cares It is working, It is Working...

To the Developer,

Found it's freeware now. Thanks.

The conversion features is much more better compare with the Apple calculator. It's simple but detail. Great App.
