Wait for the next update. This version force launches the Wacom Tablet Center — one ugly piece of software, BTW. There is no way to turn this off or disable it. I contacted support and they said they're working on it. Hope they're faster with this fix than they were with getting their kernel extension properly signed (which took several months). I uninstalled the Wacom Tablet folder from Applications for now because I got tired to have the Tablet Center pop up after every restart and then having to manually close it.

6.3.8-2 on Mavericks 10.9.2

The menu app can not find installed tablet (intuos5) even though the preference pane can see it. Tried removal and reinstall clean and no go. I would wait for a better release or go back to previous driver.

I love my Intuos Touch but I'm way too lily livered to download an updated driver just for the sake of it!

OK - here I go again... Wacom is driving me nuts !!
There's appears to be a major bug with Mavericks, Photoshop CC and any Wacom driver including the current one.
When using the tablet pen with the polygonal lasso tool in PS CC the lasso closes after a few clicks or it locks up, rendering it totally useless! This doesn't happen if you use a regular USB/wireless mouse, nor does it happen with PS CS5 or CS6 - only with CC on 10.9.x.
There is no work around until Wacom comes up with a new driver that address this issue (as well as others). The only solution for now is to use a previous vers. of PS.
This is an infuriating showstopper for anyone who does production work with PS CC.

for me, this update doesn't work with dual (multiple) monitors on 10.9 Mavericks... the cursor stays on the home screen only and mapping changes and adjustments in the control panel don't work.
anyone else experience this?

Yes. I'm on OS X Mavericks and it's not allowing me to use multiple monitors. I'm going to try and install the previous driver to see if that works or not.

So, I finally got around to uninstalling the driver 6.3.7-3 by using Wacom Tablet Utility.app found in the applications folder.

I downloaded the previous driver: http://www.wacom.asia/driver-635-3-for-mac-os-x-v-108-107-106

Installed and works fine now.

As of Dec. 13 - Still no new driver for Mavericks!
Pervious vers. 6.3.6w3 works the best.
I just can't believe they haven't come up with a proper update yet.

Be aware.. I've found major bugs in every single Wacom driver released since driver 6.3.3-3. Driver version 6.6.4-3 seems to be no different.

Driver 6.3.4-3 had horrible double-click issues.

Driver 6.3.5-5 had horrible accuracy issues - click here but the click is 5 pixels off missing target.

Driver 6.3.6-4 seems to cause the Apple "my cursor has disappeared" bug to occur with EXTREME regularity. This driver may not be the direct cause of the disappearing cursor bug, but this driver makes it so prevalent that, for me, it has made it impossible to work when I'm trying to get my cursor to reappear every 10 minutes. I've reverted to the last stable Wacom driver 6.3.3-3.

With this version I also experience weird things when working with InDesign 8.0.1.

Pages seem to randomly zoom out when I switch to a different page in the layout.

For example: I am at page 1 @ 100% zoom level and I want to copy something from page 1 to 2. So I use the copy and paste keycombo's and the next page keycombo alt-pgdwn. A second after I switched to page 2 the zoom level suddenly decreases to 76% (something like that) and when I switch to page 3 the zoom level is even further decreased to 25%...

When I downgraded the Wacom drivers to 6.3.3-3 the problem was gone.

6.4.3-3 --- Installed and promptly removed. Seems this introduces a bug for my Intuos 5 under Mac OS 10.7.5 - all double-clicks become triple clicks. Not a problem for 90% of apps, but completely unusable for that other 10%.

Happens on Intuos 4 on 10.8.2, as well - double-click on a folder also produces a double-click on the item in the same spot in the Finder window when the folder opens. Does this make it a quadruple-click?

Hello NotUsed, (and other readers)

Could you help me by sharing the version numbers of your current Intuos 5 driver and your current Mac OS?

I am currently experiencing an issue with my Intuos 5 Wacom (wireless) and Mac OS 10.7.5. When I launch System Preferences on Mac, it keeps saying "System Preferences quit unexpectedly". I can't even get into the System Preferences panel anymore.

Many thanks in advance!

Why on Earth do I have to disable touch for all the apps (incl. the system), when I just want it disabled for certain apps (such as PhotoShop, LightRoom, Aperture, Phase One, Pixelmator, Sketch)???
Touch buggers me in those apps, less so overall.
One should be able to assign touch to apps of his choice (or disable it for apps it interferes with)!..

I spent more than a year troubleshooting my Photoshop CS6-Wacom intermittent hang issue on Snow Leopard and Mavericks. I wanted to let you know that Adobe has released a fix "WhiteWindowWorkaround.plugin". Where I was previously having 1-2 of the hangs a day, I've not had one for several weeks since installing their fix plug-in.

Here’s the link:

According to Wacom's download page: "Be sure to uninstall any current tablet driver installation before installing."

Anyone know what that means. Are they referring to drivers of different brands than Wacom, or the previous installed Wacom driver's version?

Also, what's the entire/correct procedure to do this, especially without loosing previous settings?

6.3.3-3 on Intuos 5 is buggy with Mountain Lion - just the mouse, the pen is fine. For now going back to previous version (if I can find it...)

Installed Driver 6.3.2-4 for Mac OS X v. 10.7, 10.6 & 10.5 from the Wacom site and the mouse is now working again on Mountain Lion. In short, 6.3.3-3 is clearly buggy with Mountain Lion.

Wish to confirm that I - again - removed 6.3.2-4 entirely and tried to install a 6.3.3-3 fresh - after reboot and system cache cleaning - and it's still buggy under Mountain Lion. In short, back to 6.3.2-4 until Wacom comes out with an update.

Here is what solved my Intuos2 not being recognised in 10.5.3
First run the Wacom uninstaller an remove all software and preferences.
Reboot and repair permissions.
Install only the ONE driver (I used 6.08)

Well, despite the fact that I'm pretty sure it's a Graphire 2 (that's what I remember, and we've had it for years), the CTE prefix apparently means a Graphire 3 or 4, and the tablet itself thinks it is a Graphire 3, because installing the Graphire 3 driver fixed our problems. The cursor now responds exactly to the pen movement.

So, if you have the same problems as we did, install the driver for Graphire 3. If it's not here on MacUpdate, go to the WACOM site > Support > Driver downloads, choose Graphire 3 and your system, then grab the latest driver. We installed PenTablet_503-3.

We just upgraded to a Mac mini, and my daughter's Graphire tablet (original software) wasn't responding properly. So we downloaded this driver and installed it. The Preference Pane is there, but it says there are no "supported tablets" on the system.

We think ours is a Graphire 2: on the back it says "CTE-430 (Pearl)", which doesn't seem to match the codes mentioned in the update blurb. We tried restarting, and the tablet still doesn't register. What should we do?

I found this over at Wacom that might help a few people:
NOTE: If you have upgraded your Macintosh operating system with the tablet driver installed, your tablet may not respond until you uninstall the driver, restart the system and reinstall it into the upgraded operating system.
