Eyeballs provides you with a "desk critter": eyes that watch your cursor as you work. They are very configurable, very Aqua, and very groovy. Much more full-featured than other eyeball apps you may have seen; they are even skinnable.

well, it's horses for courses and the dev does supply a rather extensive suite of options for an 'eyeball' app, but $10 to have the shit annoyed out of me within the first 60 seconds? i don't think so!
With today's higher-resolution monitors (in my case, a 30" at 2560 x 1600 with several screen-eating multimedia apps running - and being a retired baby boomer still cranking away at "my art" with less-than-stellar eyesight), I find Eyeballs a huge help in just finding my cursor.
Certainly stocked with an amazing array of 'personality' settings, Stick Software continues to keep Eyeballs as fun as you want to make the experience - but for my older eyeballs, this so-called 'novelty' is extremely helpful.
Dr. Ben Haller is a very responsive developer in a addition to an amazing photographer - thanks for keeping this early-on icon of the Mac alive in our menu bars!

My brother downloaded this thing to his school laptop and we can't figure out how to delete the eyeballs. We are running off of OS X on an Apple iBook.
If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!!!
Thanks

Sorry max, I don't "get" this app - the eyes sleep all the time and don't follow my cursor and there is no way to change the alertness of the skins alreqady provided.
No Mac is complete? Nothing like shilling your own product, is there?
From OS/2? Think again, twit: this is classic Unix, and has been on vanilla X systems for a lot longer than OS/2 had to die. And where do you think IBM got it from anyway? Try 'AIX'.
Farthest from my mind, however, is this incredible download of super-shitty software - how many meg was it? The Unix original was about 40 KB on x86-based machines running Solaris.
I like it when people sell good products online. I get FURIOUS when they try to rip their fellow netizens and Mac users off!
These things are great! The features are very funny. Wha would a Mac be without the traditional eyes in the menu bar? Well done, Stick! Now, if Ben could just be more flexible in regard to the rules of poetry...
