Simple Color Palette app provides a streamlined canvas for creating, viewing, and editing color palettes in the native JSON‑based format. You can add and reorder swatches via drag‑and‑drop, right‑click (or long‑tap) to fine‑tune individual colors, and instantly preview palettes with Quick Look and Finder thumbnails. It supports extended sRGB/HDR values with display‑gamma‑corrected readouts while preserving full‑precision data under the hood.
The underlying Simple Color Palette format is an open, human‑readable JSON schema that’s platform‑agnostic—meaning any OS or tool that can read JSON can work with your palettes. You’re free to sync palette files through iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or Git; open multiple palettes side by side; or embed them in your own projects using the official Swift library or other implementations. There are no proprietary locks or export restrictions—just pure, interoperable color data.
