My wife purchased this to print banners for her second grade class room. She had version 2 and loved it, but now version 3 will not print banners or anything larger than a single page if you want to print anything other than their templates. So basically, if you want to customize anything, forget it. We spent over 2 hours on the phone with tech support and they admitted the problem was on their end and eventually gave us a refund (but there were a lot of hoops to jump through for that as well). Look elsewhere for printing banners.

I have been using version 3.0.0.30 for several months and found it quite easy to learn. I would like to see an update that would indicate the size of the cards, otherwise you often don't discover it until you go to 'print'. I downloaded the 3.0.2.8 update, but can't use it on my G5 with Tiger installed. The update is designed to work with the new intel version. If a warning had been posted I wouldn't have wasted so much time trying to download a PPC version.

Very limited and "clunky" app. It's very good for the clipart and the graphics, but the interface itself is newbie oriented at best (being kind), especially after you spend your day creating things for print/web in the CS2 environent. It is a $50 app, so you can't expect too much, but for a piece of software that deals mostly with type-for-print it's extremely limited in it's type manipulation/effects. I gave it about an hour and saw that it's a very limited app, but, for someone looking to get things (biz cards, flyers, programs, etc.) together on the cheap, I can see spending the $50.

It was a little awkward at first. We use it for our church calendars and other things. My wife has become a real whiz at it. We think it's plenty adequate for our needs.

Unfortunately appears to be broken by Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. It loads but after choosing a template the graphics don't appear on screen - you just get a blank white page. Clicking and moving the mouse shows the elemnets of the page when you move them.

This updater fixed my copy/paste issues and font issues just fine under system 10.3.6. But now when I go to print (to an Epson Photo R200) it says copies 9999 instead of 1. Unfortunatley, changing the number to 1 doesn't do anything to help it print and it eventually just freaks out the printer until there's nothing you can do. This program doesn't have the best track record in my oppinion and if you can use something else...you probably should.

I bought Print Explosion for mac a year or 2 ago and it it made my osx crash so often and badly I turned the disk into a frisby for the dog, and unloaded every aspect of it from all 4 of my macs. I hate being a guenia pig for tech companies!

This program has worked perfectly for me in both Panther & Jaguar. If installing or upgrading a program causes sudden instablity, always Repair Permissions & other troubleshooting before bad-mouthing a software developer. And ask Apple why they don't do a better job of keeping permissions straight since OSX seems to be very sensititve to problems.

They have MAJOR problems with this software, you should see my list (since the retail release over a year ago). Complain, Complian and then some more, then ask for a FREE copy of their largest Image Collection (on DVD), thats what I got ;)

After updating to 2.0.5 I am still experiencing "application unexpectedly quits" at startup. 2.0.5 was supposed to fix this problem. I'm using a G4 cube with OS 10.2.4

Updater cannot find default location for update for some reason. On Nova's website it shows the updater to be 4.7 MB , but in fact it is only 3.7 MB. I think they left somehing out. I did run the Entourage update. It did work at least. Now the program will run, where before it just crashed in OSX. I think the 2.0.4 updater is defective and needs to be repaired.

same problem, 'default location ' blah blah blah. I moved it from my hard drive to the applications folder... I'll try moving it some more but that's just silly. I left it where it originally installed.

Whats with this update??? I put the original program in my own folder which is the way i do thinks on my computer. When you fire up the installer it tells me that the default location is wrong????. why can't these software suppliers make updates that search for the program and update where it sits. I will not reinstall to where ever the default is then when the next update comes i have to do this again. This type of behaviour is not exceptable in todays computer world. Please fix this so i can update Thank You

In addition to the other posts here, the lack of a spell checker is absurd as well.

This program will not print labels (specifically Avery 5199) under OS 10.1.3. I have been trying to get a response out of their tech support folks for several months with no success. At this point, the program is useless to me, although I like the concept.

I wanted to get an application that was geared towards producing materials such as greeting cards, flyers, banners etc. and was OS X native. I got Print Explosion Deluxe thinking it would satify this need, but instead ended up with a useless application. Okay, maybe useless is a bit harsh, but the program is extremely frustrating to use, especially it text editing abilities or rather lack of. Simple tasks such as setting bold & italic type to indvidual words is impossible. In order to do so, you need to set a blank space where the italic text is to appear, then create a new layer with the italic text, and spend a while trying to get the word to line with the rest sof the sentence. I don't think I'm asking much of a print tool to be able to do this, am I? Oh, and it crashes a lot, too.
