An excellent app. Much more useful as a regular browsing tool than NetNewsWire, which you have to switch to manually (MacReporter is a dockling).

Is this application still available for download anywhere ? I had it for a long time and loved it. Then I had a Hard Drive crash and lost heaps of applications, including MacReporter. Now all links that used to point to MacReporter (including links in MacUpdate) draw a complete blank and result in error messages. Does MacReporter still exist ? Can anyone tell me ?

This is in response to the question from NOTAFOOL. I do still have MacReporter and the company must still be around because when I logged in to it today, it asked for my license code. When I entered it, I got a response that it was registered. I think the website for the developer is http://www.daedale.com/. If you check that website there is a message stating, "Coming back soon..." Hope this helps.

The site still says "Coming back soon" months after the site originally went down, so it's pretty clear that the company is out of business and MacReporter a dead product. Unfortunate since it worked exactly the way I liked. NetNewsWire appears to be an acceptable substitute for accessing RSS feeds, though, and is free.

Dear MacReporter user, Some Internet providers recently flagged our emails as junk mail and we received e-mails from users who weren't getting their coupon. I just resent some new e-mails to those people, so I encourage you to check your e-mails and let us know if you still did not receive it. Thank you for your support, Wilfried de Kerchove de Denterghem MacReporter's author

Great great soft....I love it and bought it direct after the test, finally all the flux at the same place. Bravo au développeur, super produit et élégant en plus, belle suite à la version 1, indispensable depuis son achat.

Was a great program back in its day before everyone standardized on RSS, but now it's mostly useless. A lot of plug-ins don't work anymore and it hasn't been updated in quite a while.

I downloaded and installed this twice. Could never get a window to show up in the program so could not use it. I am using OS10.3.5. Plenty of RAM and a fast internet access.

Works great with Panther! Plug-ins have been debugged and stability improved. Actually grabs more headlines from Google and other news sites than they display on their own home pages! Amazing and addictive. Can't wait for next super cool update as promised by developer.

I paid for and use this program. It works very well and it is worth the price. I tried other readers and found the 3 pane window to be more convient than constantly going to the Dock to select a new article to read. An option to use a three pain window would be great...for me.
