According to the KeySpan FAQ entry on Leopard compatibility: USB to Serial Adapters (any USA-xxx model adapter, any UPR-xxx port replicator) Software version 2.4 or later - COMPATIBLE Source: http://keyspan.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/keyspan.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=697

I've the same problem. Try to use "Pacifist" software (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/6812). You will be able to read your package and install manually the driver.

Hmmm... but I don't have either of my Keyspan devices connected... Maybe it has a problem with ANY USB device? A scanner/printer/Modem and imate USB/ADB convertor are present on mine.

Having downloaded, I receive an error dialogue when double clicking the package: The preinstall script was either not executable or not readable. I have successfully downloaded other packages prior and since trying the Keyspan driver, without difficulty. Is anyone else having a problem?

I've been using both a 28X and 29QW for some months now, to hookup a Palm, old GlobalVillage modem and the IBVA personal brainwave device for which I'm developing software. I've not had any problems since upgrading OS/X to 10.2.5 - prior to that I had the Palm drop out on HotSync a few times. The Keyspan hardware and software basically just works for me and I'm pushing it pretty hard. My main annoyance is that every time I replug the device I get a different device name. That's not a problem for my software but the modem connection menu remembers all the old ones - I have a list of useless USA28X1P2 and similar names. I assume that is an Apple bug. I have a now-useless SerialBee for which OSX drivers were never released. Although Keyspan's hardware isn't cheap, I have to give them value points for continuing to stay in business with this device!

well it works initially... just bought it to link up a new gps with my ibook... at 50 uk pounds I don't consider it value for money but what can you do... was a sunday and the only thing available. anyways got everything working and got sat nav to get home in london.. then suddenly a kernel panic!!... wasn't sure what it was - happened again while I was trying out gps simulation and bang.. traced logs and the culprit is keyspan... the readme on the website even has a line which says it all!! : This softwar release is a Mac OS X kernel device driver. This means that any failure or bug in this software could easily crash your system and/or compromise your data. Use caution. they can't even type sw properly... lamos... hasn't anyone seen this with this?

Works under 10.2.2, but every time the monitor wakes up from, an alert comes up on the screen that the keyspan adaptor has been removed, when it hasn't. Also, the Hotsync app will disable the adaptor as a possible source. You have to re-enable it every time your cpu goes to sleep. Annoying.
