Shortcut Bar overview
Shortcut Bar is an incredibly handy app that connects you to the files, folders and apps that you need lightning fast access to. The app lives in your menubar and allows you to add in an unlimited number of shortcuts. Whenever you require access to these important files and folders, simply click on the menubar icon and select the item from the dropdown list.

Too limited! Doesn't even follow aliases or symlinks! Xmenu is far superior... and free.

Quick launch apps are a dime a dozen. There seem to be hundreds of them. Initially, I thought Shortcut Bar was the same old app that lets you store and open your favorite folders and files. That being said, although I cannot say exactly why, I like the way this app works. Being able to store URLs so you can open your favorite Web sites in any browser comes in very handy.

Demo version connects to gate.hockeyapp.net, api.fiblabcdn.com, www.paddleapi.com and static.getclicky.com upon launching, and refuses to run (blank window with spinner) if connections are blocked.
Deleted and installed aLaunch (free) instead.
