Turn to VidWall if you've ever thought of replacing your wallpaper with a video that you like. You will no longer have a boring, static wallpaper on your Desktop, but an active, live video streaming underneath your Desktop files and folders.
Play, pause, mute, unmute - Don't worry, you've got the controls! VidWall is intended to be simple as heck. Unlike QuickTime Player, it does not have an on-screen control bar. Nonetheless, we included a menu bar where you can control the video player. With menu-bar access, you can play/pause, mute/unmute, select video, and quit Vidwall.
Clear up your Desktop - Focus on the video. You probably have a few thousand files and folders on your Desktop, which makes it impossible for you to see through them. With VidWall, you have an option to hide them. Don't worry, it will not delete the files on the Desktop, but will only make them invisible. You can still access the Desktop files in the ~/Desktop directory.
