I'm using MaxBulk Mailer for a political campaign. If I don't, my ISP limits me to some ever-shrinking and ridiculous number of To: people (around 20). Using a program like this is the only way for "small people" to get the message out to a few hundred people who've signed up and want to know. A bunch of useful features including preview, delay between sends, number of threads, number of emails per send. Very good stuff. PS: Isn't it ironic that some fool posting as anon. has spammed this list to complain about spam :-)

I'm a self-employed graphic/webdesigner and webmaster for our regional direct marketing association. I've used this program for my clients for several years now. It has been an inexpensive and dependable solution to sending the occasional broadcast email. Lately we had to hurry out an announcement to the DNC approved vendor list and it was thankfully a "no-brainer". Just one tip--using the preview and test sending capabilities lets you be 100% sure of what you're sending. and that's what they pay us for. Thanks MaxBulk Mailer.

I am the web editor to a society and I use MySQL to store members' email addresses on a remote server. MaxBulk mailer allows me to pull the email addresses off and personalise mailings with the merge facilities. It's perfect for this sort of thing.

I think the "spamware" comments in the reviews are just kneejerk reactions. Actually, this program would not be very good for sending spam. I have used it very successfully for legitimate marketing to my personal client list and I have been very pleased with the program and the results.

Although gets the job done, it is not as intuitive to use as it could be. Coupled with limited documentation, there is a trial and error process for learning how to use it. The connection logs are very useful, though. And the TEST preview mode is very useful so that you can see what you are sending out, before it goes out.

If however you are looking for an easy to use html/text mailer as an enhancement to your marketing plan, max bulk mailer is a usefull tool. The review section of this site I imagine was intended for useful coments on programs people are interested in, not for unsupported junking. Thanks for the spam annon.
