Alarm clock and timer with productivity log.

Overview

OSXClock is a big, beautiful clock for you mac. Key features include a productivity log -- allowing you to track how much time you spend using different apps -- a timer, an alarm, and a zoomable display.

OSXClock can be used to quickly set break times from desk work, display a countdown or project a massive clock on an external display. For example, instructors could find it useful in their classes when giving timed tests. Freelance creative professionals can use OSXClock's Productivity Log to measure how much time they spend using various apps.

* Please note that some features described above are not available in the demo version.

  • New and additional keyboard shortcuts: almost all of OSXClock’s features are now accessible without needing to leave the keyboard

It's far too easy to spend too much time at the computer while sitting, and it's a health hazard. OSXClock provides an easy and useful way to remind you to stand up an do something else, with a quite annoying alarm that needs your direct attention to be silenced.

It should be noted that the alarm and most of the useful things in OSXClock versus, say, the OSX built in alarm system are not available in the demo version.

Most of the current enhancements such as the ghost mode and 12/24 clock were the results of direct email correspondence with the developer. The support by the developer has been incredible!

I've just been reminded by OSXClock to get off my duff, so will end the review right now...

Thanks for your review. Just a small correction: the alarm, timer and day/date functions are all available in the demo.

The paid version adds things like the productivity log, ghost mode, variable transparency and resizing/ zoom.
