Overview

Snowflake, built for OS X 10.10 Yosemite, lets you stream Internet radio from thousands of stations. Snowflake helps you find Internet radio stations easily using search or a genre list. The app offers a number of controls for playing music. You can select multiple audio devices for Snowflake's sound, switching them on and off from within the app. You'll also have access to a 10-band equalizer to customize how the music sounds. There are also a number of equalizer presets as well.

I too bought Snowtape in the past which was not updated for a long time. I can understand that as the dev was too busy with his iOS and OS X app Instacast. In the version history of the beta's (http://vemedio.com/products/snowflake/version-history)I saw by coincidence that entering "BETA" as coupon code would give a 20% discount. Strange the devdis not mention this rebate when sending an email to all Snowcap registered users !! I bought Snowflake (to give the dev the benefit of the doubt) but currently stay with Radium. Why ? Radium has an IOS app and has iCloud sync of your radio stations. In that respect some of you might remember Snowtape (and Snowremote) for iOS which were suddenly withdrawn from the App Sore a fews years without any comment from the dev. ...

won't run on any mac os below yosemite! a longer while i ago i bought snowtape which is by the same developer. why pay for new app that basically does the same only that they obviously tried to mimic the vox ui? couldn't they at least offer an upgrade to their customers?? and, btw, what's the problem in making a simple internet radio player? seems to be rocket science!

What you do you mean by too busy? Too busy for a customer? I thought a customer is the reason he is in business.

I am just downloading this now, so I will keep an open mind about it, but I was somewhat unhappy when Snowtape (which I paid for) was abandoned, and so I switched to Radium. This new one will have to outperform Radium on every level to get me to trust this company again, quite frankly, though if its good I'll be happy to let people know that it is.

Cannot understand why, 3 years ago they abandoned the obviously more performing Snowtape to come out now with this I would say (having the big sister) unfortunate application ... Sure looks nice and performs well but nothing really more captivating then many other soft doing the same job. Disappointing!

I'm very happy with this Radio application. It seems to be very good. I bought it on sight. I love Jazz, and there is a lot of jazz here. I patronize a lot of radio sites. This one seems to be good.
