I've been using Peppermint for nearly a month now and really enjoy using it. Whats even better is the support I've received from the Developer. I had a problem late one evening, sent off an email, and got a response and resolution within an hour, he was also very friendly! I must admit I still use Sublime Text as my main editor as its been part of my workflow for a few years now, but with more use I could easily see myself replacing Sublime Text with Peppermint. Excellent price, excellent support, and great editor! Thank you, Developer!

I've never seen a code editor for Mac packed with so many great features at such an early stage of development. Solid node and Clojure integration, great autocompletion, and a very nice UI. This one has fantastic potential.

Real fun to use and very easy to find your way around. The GUI is beautiful, not bloated at all, and the whole design seems very well thought of. I had tried v1.0 - which was good. Enough. And i've been watching its progress. After Node.js integration and having everything neatly organized in one place and not having to switch windows and open the terminal every single time I need to try out something, well, I'm sold! (the last version has a complete bash terminal, which so far seems to be working almost like the real Terminal.!) Great piece of software. Well worth the $14.

T'would be a killer if it used OpalRB.org instead of CoffeeScript.

I downloaded Peppermint when they released their trial. A couple of weeks later, I've absolutely fallen in love with it and decided to buy it - the price is fair and compared to other popular editors in the mac market, it's definitely a bargain. So, let me share a few thoughts about this little gem of an editor: - Simple and uncluttered interface. Need tabs? Sidebar? Console? Fine. Need to focus on your code? They're gone. - Loads of supported syntaxes - and they keep adding even more - I've been using CodeRunner for testing simple scripts and it worked quite ok. But Peppermint takes this to a whole different level. It's not only easy to run any script (lots of languages supported) but you can also add your own, customize the existing ones, etc - It comes loaded with plugins that aren't even documented! (See JSLint, JSON utilities, HTML, Less->CSS, Built-in CoffeeScript compiler, Great Markdown editor/previewer, and many more - there's too much to explore, especially if you are a WebDev like me) - The API looks really powerful and neat (though I must say I prefer the JavaScript version, Coffee is a bit ehmm...) Last but not least: GREAT SUPPORT. These guys really love what they're doing and they care about their customers. I've contacted them twice for some minor issues (and I wasn't even a paying customer then) and they were more than eager to help. Bonus: I've suggested a minor addition and they've included it in the very next update! All in all, I highly recommend this editor (very surprised why it's not already in the top ten sellers on the App Store) and I can't wait to see what it is going to grow into!

Hard to say, really. Installed, attempted to run Javascript. The app couldn't find node. Reported to developers; no response. Today, 1.2b is released, with a $PATH fix. Still no response from developers. Attempted to run again, but apparently the trial expires after one day, so my issue might be fixed, might now. Recommend sticking with other editors, frankly.

Downloaded it a few hours ago and I've already fallen in love with its ease-of-use. Many plugins too, live html AND markdown preview out of the box. Compiles CoffeeScript->Javascript, which is awesome. All sorts of web dev tools included, as well, JSLint, Html beautifier, CSS beautifier, JS Packer, and more! Great job guys. I'm definitely going to buy a license. Keep up the good work!

Oh, wow. I love this editor. You can run your bash scripts, AppleScripts, C source files etc etc straight out of the block. Been waiting for something like this for years! A few suggestions, devs: i. Can you add AppleScript-ObjectiveC (ASObjc) to the list of supported languages? ii. Can you add a minus button next to the plus button at the bottom of the table view to more easily remove items from the workspace/sidebar, please? iii. Can you improve the console to show event/replies with AppleScript? Yeah, you can do it! I know you can, because I've been developing my own AppleScript editor for the last 12 months, and that's the easy bit. However, I'm not going to bother finishing it now - you've already done what I was trying to accomplish and then some! This app is awesome. Big respect for the work you've done on this (tho' a bit jealous!@) :)

A very promising editor for Mac. The (+): - Great GUI - Many syntaxes supported - Loved the HTML & Markdown preview - CoffeeScript compilation side-by-side - Lots of themes (although I prefer the original one) - The plugins make the difference The (-): - There are a few points that need some attention (but, hey, it's the second release, right?) - The documentation pages are growing, but there's still not enough about there JavaScript API (I can't wait to get my hands on that - though the built-in plugins' sources have helped!)

Great editor. Definitely a gonna-be Sublime-beater. Played a bit with their API and console and it feels so powerful, like you can endless tweak your editor as you like + all this in Javascript. Just loved it!
