Has screwed up my iPhone with iOS 9.3; I could not get any update from iTunes store anymore. I had to recover iOS from the iTunes backup. :(

I bought this software right before it became free ): It worked very well then.
Now the software does nothing except clean the crash logs.
No cleaning cache, cookies or other files.

Purchased last year. The old version sent me an error for link to iPhone, but this version is well. Tested it and got a cleaning iPhone without junk files, I got 2.38GB space. It's great, but it is free now in a bad mood.

I purchased this software August 2014 over some others offering the same type of thing for a higher price. The reason I was looking for this was we have a couple of iPhone 5S 16GBs and the iOS upgrade left a lot of junk behind. I also have a Pro DropBox account linked to my phone and the cache on that becomes quite big. I have had good results with this although there have been versions that did not work well or I had to restart my mac to get it to work. Scanning is slow, but it is scanning the phone via USB 2.0 on my old iMac. I run this about once a month to clean applications caches out and free up space and it works great for that. I usually gain a 1Gb to 300 MB back depending on my phone usage. The file system view gives me errors in some sections, but that my be a system permissions issue with iOS as my phones are not Jailbroken. Very simplistic, but overall a good app for it's main purpose. Could be better and offer more options, but not bad. It also works well on our old iPhone 3Gs and iPod Touch 4s.

A update option for the application would be a nice add.

Not so sure about this app's reviewers - almost all the five star reviewers with different names all used the same English syntax. This is a series of shill reviews. Disgusting that a company would stoop to that kind of devious marketing.

When the iOS 8 was out, space of my iPhone is not enough for update, then I found The Macgo iPhone Cleaner for Mac. aha, the update is successful owing to the Cleaner. Hearing that Macgo has released a new iPhone Cleaner, allowing users cleaning their iPhones through Windows. Good news is that to celebrate its initial release, Macgo iPhone Cleaner for Windows is available for free download till Nov.30th, 2014. You just need to visit product page to download and use the software for free.

There are some points that render this application rather useless: - I couldn’t find a way to uncheck all listed apps at once. So if you want to “clean” only certain apps you have to uncheck each app in the list. This promises to be great fun if you have more than 50 apps on your device! - No way to sort the apps by amount of “cleanable” data - It seems that the app is mainly aiming for cache files. But please, no matter what the app is trying to tell you: Cache files are not equal “junk” files! There are even apps that rely on the presence of cache files, for example map applications that are caching data for offline use. - Cache files in general tend to be recreated when launching the app. This means it makes only sense to delete cache files if you think you aren’t going to launch an app again. But in that case you’re better off just deleting the app in question, this will reclaim more space and you can always reinstall the app. - In the category “Caches” I also spotted plist files and other types that usually are rather configuration files than cache files. There is no way to exclude these files.

I tried Macgo iPhone Cleaner just now. It is helpful to speed up my iMac and delete junk files really well. Macgo iPhone Cleaner is worth to get a 4.5 point since safety use and could be freely updated in lifetime. Now with a almost $20 discount , so applicable to buy one. The reason why I didn't give you a 5 score is nothing is perfect, only better.

I tried the demo version of this app while it was on sale today. While it works okay for me, at least as far as I tested it, I can't recommend it. It provides almost no information about the files it presents as "junk", and no context for anything it does. My own knowledge is sufficient to tell me what the files it presents are. And while they are, for the most part, cached files, they're files that are just going to be redownloaded the next time you run the app in question. Cache cleaning can be useful for things like web browsers, where the cached items are usually different every time you run the app, but for most iOS apps, the majority of those cached files are going to be used over and over, so deleting them saves you nothing unless it's an app that you rarely use. I'll give it two stars because it does actually work, but there are far better tools out there for this task. Put your money towards one of them instead of this one.
