Ok, I might have been overly harsh, so I am updating my review and rating. The TypeWise interface is fairly clean, quick and clear. However, there doesn't appear to be any way to create sets of fonts for specific projects, which is a necessity for anyone needing a more sophisticated font manager than Apple's built-in Font Book app. Here is the developers response to why TypeWise does not have a deactivate button. "Fonts are activated temporarily, and are active until you restart, so there's no need to deactivate. Apple now prefers that all fonts be permanent activated or installed through the regular method (from the Finder, click on a font, install, etc.) So, for more permanent activation, use the latter, (you can select "Reveal Font In Finder" from the Options menu to quickly locate the font) or select "Activate on App Launch" and TypeWise will activate the font when the app is launched."

*Sigh*. Why is it so hard for somebody to create a decent font management program? FAP, Suitcase, FontExplorer, etc. are all buggy and over-priced. This little program looks promising, but very strangely lacks the ability to DEACTIVATE any fonts, even though it allows activation of fonts. The only option is to delete a font. WTF?!
