This addresses an important problem with Mail.app for business users. I'm a new user, but so far so good.

I just installed with OS X El capitan and it does not seem to work. Once installed, RWH crashes the Mail.app immediately every time I launch the Mail app. Had to reinstall. Has the developer tested with the new OS X?

@NOWPLAYING - It seems OS X update caused the disable. Not to worry, just re-run the installer 'Install-or-Upgrade-or-Reenable.command'. RWH will work again.

Reason of executing 'Install-or-Upgrade-or-Reenable.command' after OS X update is to add new UUID for RWH plugin. Still you're face an issue, actually this is not a expected behaviour. Shall we have a screen share to sort the issue?
If yes, please have TeamViewer downloaded and drop an note to jeeva@myjeeva.com with 'Your ID' and 'Password' from TeamViewer app.

@NOWPLAYNG - I have virtual machine of several Mac OS X versions including 10.10.2 and my macbook is in 10.10.3 public beta. RWH is tested in these VMs and my macbook too. 'RHW disabled by Mail for incompatibility' will happen on every OS X Mail.app update release by Apple. Adding new UUID of Mail.app will re-enable RWH plugin.

v4.9 released yesterday and users are downloading RWH and installing. Sometimes user do face an issues, due to permission, different user data directory, bundle support is not enabled indirectly related with permission, etc. For those users I provided remote assistance to sort out and they are satisfied & happy.

Thanks for using RWH, I'm still ready to provide remote assistance to sort the issue OR alternative we can get into chat, then I will discussion with you and share steps; you perform those in your machine. In this way you're in control of your machine not me.

My iMessage id is 'jeeva@myjeeva.com'. Kindly let me know!

Love the new format. Excellent! However, the new update to Mail in 10.9 Mavericks broke the plug-in. Is there an estimate on when this will be fixed? I miss my professional looking headers. Thanks!

Should've read the "Troubleshooting" tab first. https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/37804/mailpluginfix fixed this and the plug-in to remove the 'Flagged' folder. Yeah!

Just did a check verification using console as seen on another website and it says "permission denied". I'm signed in as an admin (have only one user, myself on my MBPr 2103) so not sure how to give myself permission. As is probably obvious i'm a complete newb as far as these sort of things are concerned. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

I've just installed ReplyWhitHeader 4.0 in my newest iMac with Maverick OS. Two issues: 1. Does not appear any header at all. Even the Apple original one has desapeared. 2. When I replay a message, it is impossible to close it. The only way to do it is forcing to close Mail.app Any suggestion? Thanks a lot, Jorge

Why does this program have an option to replace the standard "Re:" (see RFC 2822) with the broken "RE:" used by MS Outlook? Is the purpose of RWH just to introduce bug compatibility with MS Outlook, or does it do anything useful?

No interest in introducing bug :) Actually users asked for it, to sync with Outlook (font, header sequence, subject prefix , etc). So I thought fulfill both group of users with on/off option (compliance & compatibility).
