Detect Displays conveniently adds back the missing "Detect Displays" button functionality removed as a default option in System Preferences > Displays. Especially good workflow is to have an alias on each of multiple monitors. That way, if you remove or turn off a monitor and OS X doesn't detect automatically, you have a one-icon solution to refresh display configuration (e.g., menubar, dock, spanning, mirroring, etc.)
What's New
