Orbit Command provides controlled motorized pan and tilt of Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF and BCC950 ConferenceCam on OS X with the following settings:
  • Auto-exposure mode - manual mode and aperture-priority mode
  • Exposure time
  • Gain
  • Brightness
  • Contrast
  • Saturation
  • Sharpness
  • Gamma (not supported on Orbit AF but may support on some Orbit MP model)
  • White-balance temperature
  • Backlight composition
  • Power-line fFrequency (anti-flicker)
  • Focus
  • Motorized pan and tilt - up, down, left, right and center
  • LED - off, on, and auto
  • Zoom (BCC950 ConferenceCam only)
To use Orbit Command, your Logitech QuickCam Orbit must be working on your Mac properly (function normally with FaceTime, iChat/Messages, and Skype) first. This means your Logitech QuickCam Orbit must be UVC compatible. Logitech makes many models of QuickCam Orbit cameras:
  • Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere AF (should all be UVC compatible)
  • Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere MP (USB PID 0x08CC is UVC compatible, USB PID 0x08C2 is not)
  • Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere (not compatible)
