Drawing app which generates HTML5 code.

Overview

WebCode is a vector drawing app that instantly generates JavaScript+Canvas, CSS+HTML, or SVG code. While you are designing HTML5 games, infographics, or Web user interfaces, WebCode tirelessly writes the code for you!

Developed from the ground up with resolution-independence in mind, the code generated by WebCode works great on both Retina and non-Retina displays. WebCode also imports SVG and PSD files, so if you already have some of these, you can easily reuse them.

Features
  • Real time preview of every adjustment you make
  • Prepared for the world of high resolution displays
  • Drawing canvas can be switched to "Retina display" mode with a single click
  • Document format is 100% compatible with PaintCode, our popular tool for OS X and iOS developers

Zero support for non-App Store purchasers. Version 1.1.1 always crashes under El Capitan and the developers do not respond (so far) to support requests. I'm reluctant to buy the software all over again through the Mac App Store when the support is so poor already. . . .

The developer eventually responded to my support request with a redemption code for the Mac App Store and that version works under El Capitan.

So, if you bought a version elsewhere, contact PixelCut.

Hmm, seems that this could be a very good replacement for Fireworks if the company could work on the UI and bring it more in line with what it offers.
