Speedible is speed reading for your ears. Speedible allows you to control the playback speed of your audio files while maintaining its pitch so that playback still sounds normal. Translators and transcription professionals can use Speedible to adjust the audio narration to a pace which is best suited to their workflow. Speedible is perfect for speeding up podcasts, or class recordings for a quick revision, as well as for slowing down foreign language lessons and recordings on a complex subject matter.

With audio recordings you generally cannot ask a narrator to slow down

Gee, I've tried demos of programs purporting to do what this one does over the years and have gotten some horrible results among the good ones. Be careful at least to read some reviews of this, since there seems to be no demo available.

Translators and transcription professionals can use Speedible to adjust the audio narration to a pace which is best suited to their workflow. Speedible is perfect for speeding up podcasts, or class recordings for a quick revision, as well as for slowing down foreign language lessons and recordings on a complex subject matter.

With audio recordings you generally cannot ask a narrator to slow down or speed up, but with Speedible you can do just that, and listen at the pace best suited to you. Speedible maintains the pitch even with changes in speed, which means the voice still sounds normal at any speed rather than becoming too high pitched at faster speeds or extremely low pitched when played slowly.
