This app looks cool, but there are a couple of problems. Retina support would be nice. Cheers.

Great little utility. Kudos to the developer.

Would prefer option to disable the auto-update check however.

The developer is very responsive to questions and finding solutions. I had an install problem on my MBP and he personally sent me a solution faster than I could ever remember any developer doing so quickly. The app is quick and does not suck memory out of the system. It works as it is described.

Hi, may I know how did you solve the problem of installing the app to your MBP? I am having the same problem here too. I am using the late 2008 Unibody model, running on OSX 10.7.5

Very handy. Before this I would use TextEdit (or some other Cocoa app) to summon the Color Picker. But this is neat.

Please add a customisable hotkey to launch it. Otherwise, perfect.

Agree about the hot-key launch option. My menu bar is way too crowded already.

  • Drag and drop between other application color pickers.

  • Easily extend the color picker with great third-party plugins.
The Apple Color Picker has always been a great tool, but until now, never seemed to be available when you need it most. Now, capturing those colors you need is only a click away. Plus, you can easily extend the color picker with some great third-party plugins.
