In an effort to organize things, I've tried many similar organization apps. They all fell horribly short. So much so I built my own custom PHP/MySQL application to keep things organized. If I knew xCode or C++ I'd be building that out into a desktop app, but I don't. Episodes comes as close to my own personal feelings of how organization should be arranged. It is missing a few needed features but it is still a very decent app. The ability to tie the database to hard drive files is an excellent feature. A few missing items I'd like to see..... - Sort lists by ascending or descending order. You only get descending currently. - Can't mark a batch of episodes as watched. You have to click each and every episode. Not an issue for ongoing shows, but if you wish to catalog ended series, this can take quite a while. - Can't manually edit entries. Episodes pulls all data from a web database. If that database is incorrect (as they often are) there's no internal method to correct the data. So, you're stuck with incorrect data. - Can't create your own groups/categories. - No genre support. It would be nice to be able to categorize shows as comedy/drama/action/etc. - No ratings support This is a promising first start. And I do feel it's priced accordingly. I look forward to future feature updates.

Agree with the majority of the comments here. Lovely interface let down by the constant crashes. I am using it with High Sierra and not very stable. If the developer can get this sorted, they are onto a winner!

It looks really nice, but it's completely unstable and crashes all the time. I usually have to quit and relaunch right after adding a show, otherwise it crashes, then when I launch it again, it didn't save the show.
I also can't edit paths or episodes individually to fix incorrect information.
It also needs to be able to download missing episodes.
Going back to TVShows for now.
