Whilst it lists some apps it doesn't show me app the files/ folders in iCloud e.g. my backups, my photos and equally for me its showing all apps as having 0 items which isn't correct. Great idea but just isn't working for me. Would love it to!

Very nice app. As others have suggested, it needs the option to run from the menubar and not the dock. It would also be nice to be able to drag it to the Finder toolbar and have it appear in a style that matches the other buttons on the toolbar.

I would really like to be able to rename apps. I have a few apps that appear with abbreviated names that don't clearly indicate which app it is, and it would be useful to be able to change the displayed name to the actual name of the app.

With enhancements like these, I'd pay for Plain Cloud.

Hey nice work. Just a comment, I've seen that this works from 10.7 or later. Have you think about releasing for 10.6? I think too many people that is still using Snow Leopard would download this to have some of iCloud sync.

This is a handy gadget (and the price is right), except that it doesn't show PhotoStream.

Let me be more specific: I take photos on my iPod, they get stored in Library>Mobile Documents > Camera+. But Plain Cloud persists in reporting 0 items in the Camera+ category. Something seems seriously wrong here, I hope the developer will fix it.

Why not make this a menu bar application? I think I would use this if it were in the menu bar since it would help one to easily locate the various iCloud file types.

Why not just go to ~/Library/Mobile Documents ? The Finder window will open as iCloud. You can then add files or folders like any other Finder folder.

Of course. But I think, Plain Cloud is a little bit more user friendly.

I have files I've stored in iCloud via iPad, but my ~/Library/Mobile Documents folder is empty!
