After I installed this SMC Firmware Update v1.2 the battery won't charge anymore. My MacBook Pro Retina is 15 months old and the battery has only 137 charge cycles. Everything was fine until this firmware update which was recommended from Apple: "This update addresses rare issues where the battery unexpectedly stops functioning or the system hangs when the battery charge reaches less than one percent". This update had an opposite effect to my MacBook Pro which is three months out of guaranty now, according to an Apple employee. Boot-ROM-Version: MBP101.00EE.B02 (EFI 1.0) SMC-Version: 2.3f36 (SMC 1.2) Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) and the NVRAM / PRAM, as proposed from Apple, did not resolve the problem. Any suggestions or similar experiences? Best
