Minecraft Server provides an easy way to set up a Minecraft Multiplayer Server on a Mac. The idea came from the Windows "Minecraft Server.exe"

The configuration files are stored in the same directory as the server application. However, you will have to set up either port forwarding or Hamachi (for Hamachi servers).

Go to a website that allows you to see your IP address, for example http://myip.is

After I start up the program and all the files are created, how do other people connect to my server? Do I give them my public IP or the other IP? Also, do all servers need to be port forwarded? Lastly, should I worry when the program says it can't keep up?

The server has to be port forwarded, you should give them your external (public) IP, and no, don't worry if it says "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?". It's harmless.

You can't install plugins to a vanilla server, you can only install mods to vanilla servers. And if you could tell me what that server app is named I could improve my Minecraft Server app.
