next Writer is a minimalist, distraction free writing environment, which helps you keep your hand on keyboard. Using markdown format your document beautifully, then save it as '.Markdown' or export to many file formats available.

Use the 'Writer Mode' to concentrate on your writing. It fades out everything except the current line and paragraph so that you can concentrate on writing without distraction. Please refer to the screenshot for better understanding.

I haven't tried this yet, but from the screenshot and description it sounds like a complete copy of ByWord, but without the iCloud/Dropbox sync to the iOS apps.
