Sent a copy of this stationery to myself as a test. The graphic in the header did not come through, the stationery beige color was truncated by †he letter's body (dark gray with black text barely visible) and a dark gray line stretched through the return address which the stationery did supply without prompting) in the header. Running a pretty quick iMac, but this is 3rd generation stationery, it says, so it may be me...

Great. Not perfect, but great. Definitely upgrades regular boring email. And the templates work better than apple's with my PC friends. A bit quirky when editing text. Otherwise great!

Several things about this: 1. Every time an e-mail is created or being read using this stationery, the e-mail client will fetch the background image from the developers server http://emailnery.com/files/email-images/ios-linen.jpg It means, the developer can track usage of the stationery at senders and receivers, their IP addresses and God-knows-what else. The background image must be part of the package, not linked to on the internet, else one should consider this template being spyware. If the developer is unsure how to do that, he may want to refer to the Apple mail templates. 2. The price of USD 1.99 only applies if you buy one design template, that will display a link to the developers page. If you want all templates without the developers advertisement inside, it will set you back up to USD 35. Only customers in USA and Canada can buy it. 3. Creating a mail template is no rocket science. One example of how to do it is here: http://www.bibblan.com/martin/create-mail-stationery-mac-os-x I refrain from assigning stars, because as is it should not be installed at all.

Dear Edward, I am not an expert programmer. But the Apple stationary without these links appear to me to be displaying just fine in Outlook. You are certainly right, many mail newsletters in html pull images and designs off their originating servers, giving the sender a lot of information about the reader and reading of the related e-mail. But in case of newsletters, that is one-way. Your stationery, however, works both ways. Fact is that the message senders and receivers of e-mail with your stationery connect to your servers in the background, which principally is not OK, IMHO. If it is not possible to create stationery that does not phone home, plain text remains the more beautiful option. Cheers!

"…and crisp sans-serif type on elegant writing paper." The screenshot shows serif type, probably Georgia.

How are you defining "DEMOWARE"? We offer the fully functional Classic Letterhead layout - which sells for $1.99 - for FREE. Demoware, by our definition has limited features, or an expiration date. We sought to avoid the demoware designation because we're confident (based on feedback) we have such an insanely cool product that if you use it, you'll want more.

Hi, FWIW, my contention isn't whether or not this is 'good' or useful software. But, rather that it is in fact, a 'calling card' or advertisement, for pay software. There are those of us at MU, that think that this, and other 'free' software available at MU — are in the wrong category. Not a big deal to change the category. Yes, you offer the fully functional Classic Letterhead layout for no cost. But, this one item, is a subset of a greater collection. You are promoting something that is even 'more' useful. I see no shame in calling it demoware. BTW, demoware is nearly always free. But, it is still... demoware.

Pros: Very Nice! Elegant designs. Love the paper stationery look. Easy to use. Makes a great impact. Never knew there was a "stationery" feature in Mail. Looks good to my PC user friends in Outlook. Custom options are terrific, as was the service. I got mine with my logo on it. Cons: How about more design options, and maybe some greeting or occasion designs.

I regret your having such a horrid experience. Please note we offer custom designs for folks like you who want something special. We also offer the option to get "Clean" versions that remove the Emailnery logo from the footer. And we've posted step-by-step uninstall instructions on the FAQ page at http://Emailnery.com/faq - see "How Do I Remove/Uninstall Emailnery?". Hope this helps.
