Does not appear to provide the option to Show Package Contents for application bundles, which is purdee much a deal breaker -- and the reason for the low Features rating. Tried to see if there is documentation for this application, but that is hard to do if one cannot access the contents of the application bundle... It is nice to have a free file viewer with tabs, but that alone isn't enough to recommend it.

FWIW, you're not missing anything. A Finder window does the same thing. And I think it's quite abandoned. I had downloaded it a few years back and didn't like it. Tried it again today on El Capitan. It crashed promptly.

Since some people don't like my review, I thought I'd update my comments on this app. I looked through the application bundle via finder and could find no documentation for it, so there still appears to be no way to view application bundles via FileDesk LITE. Yes, it allows one to have one window, with tabs, to view any and all folders, but TotalFinder and XtraFinder do this too, but allow full finder functionality as well. So it arguably works as advertised -- seems stable and can show tabbed folders in one window -- but this is limited functionality. SImilarly it lacks all other Finder functionality of the contextual menu; it only has "open with". The limited functionality is the reason for the low rating and I stand by it.
