SolOske free download for Mac

15 January 2012

Download online image galleries for offline viewing.

SolOske helps with the download of online image galleries and image folders for offline viewing as compressed (CBZ or ZIP) files or standalone directories.

SolOske automates the manual process of saving all images in a gallery from your Web browser by taking the same URL and obtaining all related image files, nicely packing them into a standalone file for later reading in an image package viewer like Simple Comic in Mac OS X or ComicBookLover in iOS.

For unknown image galleries, SolOske will offer to download all linked or embedded images, and depending on the preferences save them as a folder or a ZIP file.

To use, simply navigate to the desired gallery in one of the supported sites below and copy its URL from the Web browser. You can then paste this URL into SolOske and queue the download. The final file or directory will be saved in the location predefined in the preferences or in your Pictures folder.

Supported sites:

  • Generic HTML image listings (linked or embedded)
  • YouKioske
  • SubManga
  • Issuu
  • Images from imgur, imagebam, imagevenue
Support for other sites may be incomplete and it's not advised nor supported.

If you have a suggestion for further sites to include please contact us for further addition. SolOske will only support free-to-download image galleries.

SolOske can't verify the validity of the images downloaded. Please ensure you have rights to download them before processing the URL in this application.

Well, which one is it? Developer's own description: "Free ($0.99)" Seems like another person doesn't know what "free" means.
