CleanGenius offers the easiest way to scan and clean your Mac in seconds, saving the disk space and keeping your Mac clean and healthy.
Features
- Fast Clean - Scan and clean your Mac in seconds. It will remove the user caches, logs, trash, Safari Internet caches, and more, making you regain the valuable disk space.
- App Uninstaller - Completely uninstall the unwanted apps and remove their leftover junks in an easy way.
- Duplicates - Easily find, view and get rid of files with identical content, regardless of name, regaining your valuable disk space. The found duplicates will be shown by categories with the size like music, videos, pictures, documents, etc. By default, the app will keep that at least one instance file of the duplicates after removing them.
- Disk Usage - Locate and delete the unwanted large files easily. This app displays usage of the entire disk or a folder on your Mac, finding out what wastes the valuable space. You can remove the useless files and folders to save the disk space just by a click.
- Free Memory - Increase the free memory just by a click and set to warn when the free memory is below 10% ~ 40%.
- Login Item - You can select and disable the apps to start up during your Mac's login.

il programma ha eliminato i file duplicati , quindi ho dovuto inizializzare il disco e ricaricare file e programmi. programmi come questo non dovrebbero inseriti in nessun sito, neanche gratis.

This app is always tagged "special offer" on the MA$ at $0.99.
Now it is on "sale" at MU at $22.46 (25% off). And we are f*****g stupid to believe it… Go away with your rubbish and you website with softpedia and appstorm (lowercase are voluntary) approvals.

For the core feature, cleaning you Mac, the best choice is CleanMyMac.
I ran both programs and CleanMyMac found 220 Mb of junk stuff while CleanGenius found 80Mb...
The uninstaller is OK for both. Even better than AppDelete, sometimes.
However, CleanGenius has some interesting features CleanMyMac doesn't:
Duplicate finder
Free memory
Disk space monitor
...
So if the addons are important to you (and they should be), CleanGenius is a good tool. However, the core feature is not the best. Far from it.

If it were still Ver2.0, I would have agreed CleanGenius and CleanMyMac had some similar parts. But now, since the CleanGenius Ver3.0 released, it has more functions with diverse UI than CleanMyMac. Personally, I consider CleanGenius has already surpassed CleanMyMac.

total rip off of clean my mac!! you'd better watch out developers of his app,mac paw can sue you for plagiarizing their app even though yours is free it still takes away from there sales and looks and operates identical to theirs!

Just what we need: more useless Windows-style crapware on the Mac.
Caches and logs are not "junk files;" they're data, and there's no reason to remove them unless they cause a problem, which is rare.
You don't need to be "alerted" when your (free) disk space goes below 10%, because that event is of no significance.
Converting available RAM to free RAM harms performance and has no benefits whatsoever.
Don't install this garbage.

Very simple operation/UI.
I tested the uninstall on a simple app --- which totally disappeared ie nothing in the trash, no traces found with spotlight nor Find Any File.
Follow-up: Developer apparently finally grasped the concept of Mac app version numbers (previous bug fixes were all ver2, with no announcement). Now functions as advertised on my machine.
One small bug left --- ID's my OS as 10.8.0 --- notified developer.
Developer has been responsive re. support.

I can't speak to this product's effectiveness, but Easeus is a reputable developer that makes a well-regarded partition manager and other apps for Windows. It'll be slightly interesting to see how well they do with Mac apps.

I was looking for a nice Purity (developer gone) replacement. This one does not offer the specific choices/explanations that Purity does
1. Installer contains nothing but the application and a single preference file is created when it runs (install/run monitored by CleanApp). Did not "phone home".
2. During the cleaning, I saw some of my apps flash by (thinking "Oh No -- just lost my game ranking"). A quick check showed things were still intact.
I'll be removing it for now --- but will be watching for promising development.
