Drag folders to be "cleaned" onto the application icon or the "drop zone" in the application. You can also clean directories through a menu item in the app.

I find that if the folder dropped on the app contains multiple levels of sub-folders with .DS_Store files in them, I need to drop the topmost folder on the app multiple times until it finally says there are zero .DS_Store files.

Seems to be among the better versions of this type of tools, but would benefit from an option to automatically quit after it is done cleaning.

It works fine on OS X 10.6.5 after editing the Info.plist, even though it says the MinimumSystemVersion is OS X 10.7.

Why would anyone need an application for this? Open Terminal and type:

sudo find . -name ".DS_Store" -depth -exec rm -f {} ;

The command above does scans directories recursively for .DS_Store files and removes them.

Because not everybody is comfortable with the command line, especially when deleting files.

Why? Because it's more convenient than opening Terminal and typing?

The "requirements" line says : Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger
But when I try to open it, a message says : "You have Mac OS X 10.6.8, this app needs Mac OS X 10.7 or +"
Please, change the "requirements" line :-)

Requirements mention Intel, Mac OS 10.4 but in fact the application works only with Mac OS X Lion 10.7...
