Kerbal Space Program is a multi-genre game where players create their own space program.

In KSP, you must build space-worthy craft, capable of flying your crew out into space, without killing them. At your disposal is a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship. Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn't). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science!

The game is being built first as an open sandbox. There are no objectives yet. You're free to build anything you can think

Remember to check compatibility with whichever mods you have installed first. M'kay?

We're actually at 0.18.4 (with 0.19 being worked on by the developers). Keep also in mind that the price has been increasing with every release, it's at 23$ right now. So basically the more you wait, the more you'll have to pay.

This "simulator" is quite the ride. Huge amount of fun when you've got some time to waste and don't want to shoot another zombie.

Program allows you to construct rockets with different characteristics and see if you can get the "Kerbals" into space. Sometimes you meet with success, sometime not. Go over to YouTube and watch some of the epic failures - it's quite the riot.

Kudos to the developers - and thanks for making it available to the Mac populous!

This is shaping up to be a fun game. I would have spent hours playing this if it was around when I was a kid.

It didn't take long to go through the short tutorials, build and test up to my 7th version of a multi-stage rocket before I had the Kerbals several thousand kilometers up on a mission that looks like it may go on for days.

Suggestions:
Fast forward time control - Sitting and watching a capsule drift silently in open space is cool for the first 30 seconds or so but gets boring really quick.

Cameras that show the view of the capsule from the last stage of the rocket jettisoned and allow panning around it as it falls.

I look forward to future releases to see how KSP comes along.
