Does what it says it does. You need the XCode developer's tools installed, and it is the same as the command in Terminal, but it's a little more convenient.

Its also good for people like my ex-wife who can't be bothered to open the terminal and type stuff lol

Sorry, but I find it isn't working well under Mountain Lion. Not very efficient any more at all.

All this does is execute the 'purge' command that comes with the Developer Tools (Xcode etc.) from Apple. The Developer Tools need to be installed for this to work (you can also just type 'purge' in Terminal).

Yes, you're true, but not all people is familiar with the Terminal, and this is a quicker and cooler way.

So? The developer isn't charging for it.

I know, and I do appreciate it that the developer has put his time and effort into something that is released to the public for free. I just wanted to point out that you need to have the Developer Tools installed for this to work. ;-)

You’re right, Joris-Vervuurt, for some reason I focused more on your 1st sentence than your 2nd. My bad.

That's strange, because I tested it on several new Macs without Developer Tools installed, and it works anyway.
