It seems a nice application and 2$ seems very reasonable for the simplicity it brings to something you could do yourself but with a lot of work and being a "power user".

The only thing I have to say is that you don't have a trial version. I know it's the problem with App Store. No more trial version (for now, as I imagine "in-app" buys will be possible soon).
Also a lot of freeware, became - mind you very cheap - paying apps.

I'll probably spend the two dollars to try, but a trial version (on the dev website for exemple) would be really nice.

Love it! What a great way to keep track of changes in my Dropbox. As Yrm noted, you can get a simple RSS feed to tell you what has changed, but DropIn provides a lot more functionality that makes the $2 investment a no-brainer. I particularly like the preview of changed files (including basic "get info" information), and the ability to filter out files and folders. The droplet feature is nice, too, as a fast way to dump files into my Public folder.

Mmh, you could do it by yourself like I do it w/ eg. RSS menu and the newsfeed from your Dropbox folder … or you can shell out $2, which is not much and maybe worth it.
