Tiny URLs ... Simply copy a long url (that begins with http://) to your clipboard and launch the script. Next, a 'Confirmation' dialog box will appear when the clipboard has the new shorter url on it. Then you can paste it wherever you like.

  • Added error trapping in case a Tiny URL is already on the clipboard.

No installation instructions. Yes, I know it's a script. But into which script folder do I place it?

Any application's script folder, but it'd be most useful in ("/Users/" & yourshortusername & "/Library/Scripts/" & yourdefaultbrowser'sname), and you'll need to create that folder if it doesn't exist.

Size is likely 30.7 KB, not MB.
