AlterVideo Safari Extension forces Adobe Flash and other embedded videos to use the HTML5 Video player when possible.

The goal is to detect video on the page in a generic manner with little support for specific websites.

It would be most helpful if you could go to SideTree.com/Contact and submit a list of sites which don't work so it can be looked into. Thank you!

The extension does what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, it fails to playback video on certain sites and it doesn't offer a way to quickly fallback to the standard flash player other than disabling the extension while visiting the problematic sites.

When this issue gets fixed, the extension will be a must have.

The ability to revert has been added in 1.1, just right-click the video element and choose "Un-AlterVideo"
There are currently no troubleshooting comments. If you are experiencing a problem with this app, please post a comment.
