GUI for the uuidgen tool.

UUID Generator puts a GUI around the creation of Universally Unique Identifiers (UUIDs). While the OS may provide the uuidgen tool, it doesn't provide the ease and simplicity of UUID Generator:

  • Generate UUID bytes
  • Generate a UUID for use as a CMPluginFactoryID
  • Output to the Clipboard or stdout
  • Your choice of UUID generator algorithms
  • Utilize the Services architecture for ease of generating UUID's right in your application (e.g. Xcode)
